Ten Hours and Counting!! In Ten hours we will pile in a van and head down to Chicago. The packing is done, and all the hard work of preparing has now come to an end! Except for the work of God preparing our hearts!
I(maria) can only speak for myself, but I am excited to be headed back! I am ready to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. And although I can really only speak for myself, I pray for the rest of the team, that their hearts and minds will also be transformed!
God is good! We filled 22 bins with in kind gathering items; from batteries, duct tape, vitamins, handmade quilts, and crayons, we have it all! Thank you for all of your support in gathering these items!
Matthew 25:35 says, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in."
We will experience hunger and thirst for God this week! We will be invited into the homes with the opportunity to share the Gospel! Praise God!
